Slip n' Slide
Do you ever just stare at something beautiful in a store and hope and pray that one day it might be yours? Just say you pick up a super soft, supple and sexy (to me their sexy) Gucci Loafer and just hold it close. Maybe take a deep breath in and smell the musky Italian leather? Too much? Maybe...but I'm completely obsessed with the Gucci Peyton Loafer (above). This is one special shoe and is on the tippy top of my want (pray for) list. Let's pretend for just a second that someone came up to me on the street and handed me a thousand dollars. I would totally go straight to Nordstrom to buy these babies. I pinky swear I would take such good care of them. Since that's NOT likely to happen, I have chosen a few other faves in slide-on (mule) category that is smokin' hot for Spring. Hope you likey my choices. They are all available at Nordstrom or Nordstrom.com.
How pretty is this soft blush Annie Loafer Mule from Linea Paolo? I adore the colour and they are definitely a reasonable price at $152.00. Notice how similar they are in shape to my beloved Gucci's? They are also available in black for a more traditional look.
This Amory Wedge Slide in Tan is a fantastic little shoe. I think the low wedge is super cute and would look great with a pair of white skinny jeans - here I go with the white jeans! Also available in black. $152.00.
If you like the look of a little tassel on your mule, these Sam Edelman Paris Backless Tassel Loafer's are a great choice. They also have a similar cut to my Gucci's. :) Also available in Tan Leather. $180.00 is a great price.
One of my favourite pairs of shoes from last summer were a pair of slides very similar to these Diane von Furstenberg Caserta Slide Sandals. I wore mine all the time...dressed up and down. I might need to invest in these. $246.00. What? Their DVF!
I know, I know. I sense the eye rolling and the internal bitching. But they're so pretty...and classic. Right? So completely worth the $820.00 price tag on these Tod's Double T Mules. Yikes...they're almost the same price as the Gucci's!!! Sorry....
For Saturday's I bring you the super comfy Vince Verrell Slip On. I love the black, but they also come in a sweet deep blue suede? And who can resist a blue suede shoe? Not Elvis. $269.00
